Hippie Toast ✌️

We enjoyed the first camping weekend of the season! Soaked up some vitamin "N"! ☀️ A bit chilly but we had delicious food to keep us warm just like this Hippie Toast A.K.A Vegan French Toast!

This was made right on the fire! Feel free to try this on the stove top it will be equally delicious! Makes 6 pieces of toast ♨️

Combine the following in a container: 1 cup Cashew Milk (or other non-dairy milk) 4 Tbsp Chickpea Flour 2 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup 1 tbsp Chia Seeds 1 tsp Nutmeg 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1/2 tsp Salt Bring some oil to cook the toast with, extra maple syrup, fruit and 6 slices of bread (I used sprouted).

Heat up your pan and get the oil nice and hot. Dip a slice of bread in the mixture. Let sit for a minute. Place the bread on the pan. Let it sit for 3-4 minutes and flip. Continue to do this until the bread gets nice and toasty. Continue to do this which each piece of bread. That's it! You get delicious vegan French toast. Top with fruit and maple syrup!

This makes for a yummy and elaborate camping brunch! or a normal non-camping brunch! ;)
