Vegan Waffles

I was participating in a secret Santa over the holidays and I somehow ordered a mini waffle maker instead of a regular sized

press! (Ha!) So I kept the mini waffle maker and got inspired to make some vegan waffles!

These are really easy to make and you don't need many ingredients. The longest part of the process is waiting for the waffles to cook! Ingredients:

1 and 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour

2 tsp Baking Powder

1/4 tsp Salt

3 tbsp Maple Syrup

1 and 1/4 cup Cashew Milk (or other non-dairy milk)

1 tbsp of Ground Flax

1 tbsp of Chia Seeds

2 tbsp Coconut Oil

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 tsp of Cinnamon

Method: 1) Heat up your waffle maker

2) In a bowl mix in all of your ingredients until completely combined and smooth.

3) Add your waffle mix into the maker (my mini takes 2 tbsp at a time) follow the instructions for your waffle maker.

4) Allow to heat up for 5-7 minutes until they are brown and crispy. 5) Top with fruit, whip cream, syrup - Enjoy!
